Place ribs in a 3 to 4- quart slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine onion, barbecue sauce, orange and lime peel, salt, orange juice and lime juice; mix well and pour over ribs. Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours. Spoon sauce over ribs before serving.
